Ms. Chitwan Malhotra Honorary Chairperson IHDLife (Innovative Healthcare Delivery) a global healthcare and pharmaceutical giant and also Executive Director of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG) has donated a state-of-the-art Passenger Transport Ambulance (Force Traveler-Force T1) to the Mother of the Nation and First Lady of Zimbabwe, Her Excellency Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa.

“With a significant increase in the number of emergency cases, transportation of the patients to the nearest hospital as early as possible is the need of the hour”, says Ms Chitwan. “The ambulance donation initiative will help to meet this growing demand and sustain the caring, professional service that the people of Zimbabwe count on and value.
Ms. Chitwan acknowledges the commendable work that the First lady has been doing as a Health ambassador and Patron of the Angel of Hope Foundation. The First Lady has been championing and leading programmes that are to do with health across the country as well as advocating for affordable and quality healthcare for everyone in the country. The Foundation has been supporting and empowering vulnerable and disadvantaged women, the elderly and children in the rural areas of Zimbabwe through income generation and health.
In December 2020, Ms. Chitwan had the privilege of meeting the First Lady in Harare and witnessed that Angel of Hope was making important developments toward uplifting the lives and promoting the healthcare of many ordinary Zimbabweans. “This made us pledge to work hand-in-glove towards seeing improved provision of adequate and quality healthcare of the majority of Zimbabwe”, says Ms Chitwan.
